Edward Ndambala- Distinction Holder

What were your objectives in signing up for the workshop/programme?

The objective was to gain an understanding of how advanced markets are structured and function, enabling me to contribute to the holistic development of my domestic country’s financial markets.

Which feature of the workshop/programme did you find most useful?

The instructors possessed invaluable practical experience and knowledge, which can only be gained from professionals who have been practitioners in the financial markets.

Furthermore, they demonstrated an exceptional ability to simplify the complexities of the financial markets, allowing ACI candidates to grasp the concepts and apply the knowledge taught effectively.

What advice would you offer someone starting out on their journey towards ACI accreditation?

Candidates should have an objective that extends beyond merely meeting regulatory or office compliance requirements for certification. Otherwise, personal development may stagnate once the short-term external objective is achieved.

Furthermore, candidates from African countries should aspire to transform their financial markets into developed financial markets, fostering growth and global competitiveness.
